About The Raigad Group Providing Industrial & Medical gases

The Raigad Group Established in 1965 as a single trading unit in Khopoli, The Raigad Group has expanded to 7 manufacturing units and 3 trading units alongside the western coast of the state. The units are strategically located to cater to the Industrial Gas demands of all MIDCs in the aforementioned trading area, as well as meet the commercial demands of neighbouring towns and cities.

Through rigorous planning and an acute foresight into the industry’s need for top grade Industrial Gases, The Raigad Group collectively has evolved an impressive portfolio of all sorts of commercial as well as Ultra High-Purity Gases manufactured with high precision and meticulous processes.

The Raigad Group also forayed into Solar Energy, Petrol Retailing business, logistics and warehousing.

The Head Office is located in Khopoli, Maharashtra.

The Raigad Group spearheads into manufacturing and trading of all Industrial, Refrigeration, Calibration, Mixture and Medical Gases in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.

Established in 1965 as a single trading unit in Khopoli, the group has expanded to 5 Manufacturing units and 6 Trading units alongside the western coast of the state. The units are strategically located to cater to the Industrial Gas demands of all MIDCs in the aforementioned trading area, as well as meet the commercial demands of neighbouring towns and cities.

The group employs 25,000 cylinders, 200 employees and 25 commercial vehicles to deliver stellar services to all their clients.

The Raigad Group also forayed into Solar Energy, Petrol Retailing business, logistics and warehousing.

INDUSTRAL SERVICES – KHOPOLI

Started to cater to industrial gas requirements in Khopoli industrial area

1977
KOKAN GASES - ROHA MIDC

Second partnership firm set up to cater to upcoming industrial areas in Konkan belt of Maharashtra for their gas requirements.

1988
INDUSTRIAL SERVICES- VADKHAL

Set up to cater to the new Steel industry coming up, now known as JSW Steel Ltd. We are still their vendors.

1993
KOKAN GASES- MAHAD

For industries in Mahad and Mangaon MIDC area

 

1995
KOKAN GASES- CHIPLUN

For industries coming up in Chiplun and Ratnagiri MIDC area.

1996
RAIGAD OXYGEN PVT LTD- KHOPOLI

Backward integration to the trading business set up and run successfully for almost two decades. The driving force behind the groups expansion was Mr Sunil Gupta. Manufactured Oxygen, Nitrogen and Nitrous Oxide gases. Transferred the plant and business to Raigad Carbides in 2014.

2000
RAIGAD CARBIDES- KHOPOLI

Set up as an Acetylene gas manufacturing unit.  Later added Oxygen and Nitrogen gases in 2014, Argon and CO2 gases in 2015 and Hydrogen gas in 2017.

2002
RAIGAD GAS INDIA PVT LTD- CHAKAN

Set up the first Oxygen manufacturing unit in upcoming Chakan MIDC area. Produced Oxygen and Nitrogen gases and gradually scaled up production over the next 7 years. Added Argon and CO2 in 2012. Added Nitrous Oxide gas in 2020.

2005
RAIGAD AIR PRODUCTS, RABALE-NAVI MUMBAI

 Set up in the huge MIDC area being developed in Rabale, Navi Mumbai. Manufacturing of Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon and CO2 gases.

2006
RELIANCE PETROL PUMP DEALERSHIP- KHOPOLI

Amongst the first franchise holders of Reliance Industries Ltd- Fuel division having Petrol, diesel and Auto LPG fuelling.

2010
RAIGAD GAS COMPANY- CHIPLUN

Set up as backward integration for the trading units in Mahad and Chiplun. Manufacturing Oxygen and nitrogen gases.

2011
RAIGAD INDUSTRIAL GASES- VASAI

 Manufacturing of Oxygen, Argon and CO2 gases. Sold the unit in 2016.

2011
RAIGAD GASES- MAHAD

Backward integration for the trading unit in Mahad. Oxygen and Nitrogen gases manufactured.

2019
RG CLEAN ENERGY CO

Partnership firm to enter into the green and clean energy business. Installation of solar system of all capacities.

TAYLOR WHARTON DEALERSHIP

Dealership for Maharashtra and goa region. All cylinders imported from Malaysia.

2020
RAIGAD STEEL AND ROLL FORMS PVT LTD

Took over a running CRF and PEB company in Murbad. Manufacturing of cold rolled steel structures and pre engineered building structures. A part of diversifying in the core industry through RSRF.
